Thunder Bay & District Humane Society | Nalu Web Design & Development

When the Thunder Bay & District Humane Society first approached Nalu to sponsor the development of their website we jumped at the opportunity. Our team at Nalu is an animal loving bunch. Most of you who stop by our office will often be greeted by our ” furry four legged mascot” Kona who is faithfully in the office everyday. We wanted to share the joy and happiness that Kona brings to our office with anyone looking to adopt a pet. Being able to easily connect people with their potential pet via the Humane Society was something we wanted to be a part of.

We started this project by adding colour to the existing Humane Society logo so that it would stand out. From there colours were chosen and we started to develop an easy place for people to donate, adopt and volunteer with the association. The one feature we believed would be beneficial for everyone was pulling the available animals from their current adoption database. When employees input the animals to their internal database each animal automatically show up on the website; which ultimately saves time on website upkeep. To help this cause please visit
